How is your service different than other interior designer inspiration boards?

Design Boards, Inspiration Boards, Mood Boards…There are many names for what we do. Often these board consists of  professionally designed rooms or pictures cut from magazines or catalogs and then pasted to a poster board for several hundred bucks.  It’s purpose is to inspire,  fill your head with visions of grandeur, then set you free to design and find!

Little Apple Design boards however, make the decorating process a whole lot more convenient. Think of us as friends with opinions, conscientious moms and personal shoppers.  Not only to we do provide furniture, decor and paint suggestions but we source the products for you with the best online shopping sites (often offering free shipping)!

Will my room design be original?

Yes! Our selections are solely based on your responses to our questionnaire.  This allows us to the craft a room design based on your personal taste and requirements. Sure, there are a few “it” items when it comes to nursery design that we may recommend to a number of our clients but it’s only because we think you will love it!

How much can I expect to spend on creating a nursery from start to finish?

We find that our average nursery costs just under $4000 from start to finish.  Now this doesn’t mean a sweet room for baby can’t be pulled together for under $1000. It all depends on your needs and existing furniture. By answering our 30 questions, we will be able to tell you immediately if the budget you have in mind makes sense for your project and come up with a custom design just for you. But don’t blame us if we add a few splurge items for you to consider and then realize that you have to have them! Note: Budgets are exclusive of tax, shipping and handling charges.

What type of furniture do you recommend?

Big ticket items such as cribs will always meet the CPSC safety standards and are certified by the JPMA (Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association). We will source the most appropriate design that meets your budget. Whether we recommend Target or a boutique furniture designer, safety is first and foremost.

Do you guarantee the products you recommend?

We stand by our recommendations. The brands, products and websites we provide are from reputable companies or honorable Etsy businesses. We have either dealt with them ourselves or they come highly recommended from friends and clients. We would never recommend anything we wouldn’t purchase with our own credit cards online or buy for our own kids!  That said, if for some reason you have a poor experience or bad customer service, we want to know about it!

What if I have questions about my design board presentation?

We will automatically schedule a follow up email or call (your preference) to discuss our design board presentation with you. We highly recommend sending us your list of questions in advance via email. That way we can address all of your questions at once. Should you request additional consultation from Little Apple Design, we charge an hourly rate of $40.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment is accepted via Paypal. If you don’t have your own paypal account, that’s ok. Paypal accepts credit cards. Just click the “Buy Now” button found on our “design now” page and follow Paypal’s instructions. All purchases are non-refundable once the design process begins.

Are there any other terms or conditions I should know about?

While your board is guaranteed to be unique, Little Apple Design reserves the right to use your design board photo for advertisement on our website or www.projectnursery.com. Really it’s just away for us to brag about how cool your room will be. Your furniture schedule and proposal will never be shared with the public.
